Travel preparation

• A valid biometric passport — required to enter Germany. Check the expiry date: it must be valid for at least 3 more months after your return.
• Citizens of the Republic of Moldova do not need a visa for Germany — up to 90 days
• Every traveller, including children, travels with their own passport
• No passport, or it's expired? Start the procedure at least 2 months ahead

• A minor travelling without both parents needs a notarised consent from the parent (or parents) not accompanying them
• The consent is requested when leaving the Republic of Moldova — keep it in your hand luggage
• Recommended: a copy of the birth certificate

The trip takes 24 to 35 hours — take with you:

• Water and food for the road — stops are short
• Warm clothes — nights on the coach get cold
• A phone charger
• Your regular medication, in the original packaging, with a prescription if needed
• Documents and money — in your hand luggage, never in the checked baggage
• Checked baggage up to 50 kg is included in the ticket

• Euros in cash for the road — stops and small expenses
• Card: check with your bank that it works in Germany
